"A good frame by frame movie"

I fun little film. The plot was well thought out and wrapped up well. There was some great frame by frame work there. Your style is a bit simple, but I guess simplicity is a whole different style! And of course, who could go against the Indiana Jones theme? A good movie overall.
The only other comment I would like to make is that it would have been fun to see a reference to the game "The Secret of Monkey Island", since well, your story takes place on Monkey Island. You know that game?

Hope you do well at that film festival.

"Potential is there"

The visuals are very unique and nice. Very good style of urs.
The voice acting is great. Truly amazing. Seriously, I should talk to those people.
The story is the only thing that lacks originality. It's a bit of an intro, yes, but a bit more jokes here or there would have largely improved the movie. It's a bit short too. The end is a bit abrupt.

Great overall. Spend more time on the script next time.

"Fun for a minute or two"

A nice little addictive game, yet only for a bit. There wasn't really a challenge in it. I could take my time all I want, yet nothing happened. No timer, no blocks (or pixels, w/e) that can make you lose points. The lack of variety really stopped me from wanting to countinue afetr level 5. Too bad I didn't bother getting the blade.

It's an interesting concept, but you need to deepen it further.

"Brilliant film"

A true tribute to noir films. Animations was choppy at some times, but in overall was good. Style was amazing! The black and white and design blended well. Suprisingly, the cartoony characters did not set off the serious tone of the film.
The story was very well done, and in about 10 minutes packed an engaging plot. The twist was unexpected and well anticipated, and not utterly random unlike other films that studios pay millions of dollars to make. The ending stayed true to the athmosphere.

I really hope seeing more from you soon. One of the best movies on NG to date.

"Needs work"

The graphics arn't too bad. They don't look too clean, but nothing the overall style is good.
The gameplay is slightly flawed. The game is rather repetitive. Controls need a bit more work. The only thing that keeps puzzle games like these worth playing is addictivity, which this lacks. Also, change the TAB control, because TAB makes the browser switch to next object in the HTML page.
The story mode is amusing, and somewhat original.
Finally, try to optimize this flash. You are barely under the 5MB limit for a really small game. Try optimizing your sound, cleaning out the library, etc...

In overall, the game just isn't very fun, for a very big file size. There's alot of potential in your flash skills though.

The movie itself, quite amusing. Not bad, some nice FBF. Some more detail would have been better. The music was quite good too.

But really, you should consider putting down the file size. 4.7 megs?! Try compressing the audio file and cutting the length of the song to when your flash ends. There is a page on this somewhere on Newgrounds. Also, put a preloader.

"Interesting trivia game"

Knowing all your 50 states is a pretty good idea for a trivia game. Yet I felt this was only the bare bones of it all. Asking state capitals, bonus rounds and a more interesting interface would have been nice. Also, if it was multiple choice based (since plenty of people don't know all the states, and typos happen) would have been better. The

Repetitive gameplay makes this quite a boring game. getting to 25 every time makes the game quite long. Art isnt that bad. Loop gets annoying really quickly.
Try making a more complex game next time.

"Needs improvements"

Gamplay was lacking. Each new level had a new chanllenge, but generally after 30 seconds it got quite old. The health on the bosses were way too big : you eventually found yourself simply shooting at him over and over again, knowing his pattern. Also, the ability to not be able to shoot more than one bullet at a time made it quite a slow game. Bosses didnt explode when you killed them or show any damage when you shot them. Sound loops didnt loop well and didnt really seem to fit. Story was weak, but it doesnt really play an important part in this genre. Maybe shorter levels and more enemies?

Oh, and I could see the black backround behind the last boss. Lazy you. :D

"Not bad"

The animation was nice and fluid, but Mario parodies generally lose the touch when not done with sprites. The story wasn't that bad at all, except using voices instead of text boxes would have been better. Backrounds were a bit too simple.
